Need a place to crash?

Since our wedding is held over Labor Day weekend, I am encouraging everyone to book their hotel room as early as possible. My hopes are that you can lock in your rooms before rates hike up as they tend to before the holidays.

So with that in mind, I have gathered information for three Downtown Boise hotels I would recommend.

The Grove Hotel: 245 S. Capitol Blvd.
The Grove Hotel is located in downtown and is Boise's only luxury full service hotel. The European elegance of the entry warms guests while the adjoining lobby bar encourages lingering in overstuffed sofas and chairs around the fireplace. Emilio's serves up award-winning regional cuisine, an extensive wine list, and unparalleled service in an elegant setting.

The Hampton Inn & Suites: 495 S. Capitol Blvd.
Situated in the heart of downtown Boise, The Hampton Inn & Suites is near the
Boise Convention Centre, Qwest Arena, and Boise’s finest retail, entertainment and restaurant district - you can have it all! Right out the front doors you can enjoy PF Chang’s or local hot spot sidewalk cafĂ© dining. Then, catch a movie at the multi-screen movie theater or enjoy a great laugh at the Funny Bone Comedy Club. Wonderful extras included are Complimentary On the House™ hot breakfast, complimentary wireless high-speed internet access in all guest rooms and lobby, complimentary airport shuttle, attached parking facility, complimentary 24-hour indoor exercise facility, complimentary 24-hour business center, Indoor Cool Pool™ and whirlpool, Boise’s only pool designed for interactive adult and children entertainment, game room and on-site convenience store.

Mariott Towne Place Suites: 1455 S. Capitol Blvd.
Nestled in the heart of Boise, TownePlace Suites by Marriott® is an all suite hotel located three blocks from The Boise Depot. Only minutes away from downtown, specialty shopping, intriguing museums and the historic State Capitol Building. Relax and feel at home with a fully equipped kitchen and complimentary services: high speed internet access, continental breakfast, local calls, indoor pool, business center and airport shuttle. Boise offers outstanding outdoors activities from the serenity of Ann Morrison Park and the greenbelt, to fishing and floating the Boise River, to kayaking the Payette to snowboarding at Bogus Basin.

For what it’s worth, I feel that The Hampton Inn & Suites offers the best value for the best price. Their prime location in the heart of downtown puts you right at the doorsteps of great shopping, entertainment and restaurants. A close second is The Marriott Towne Place Suites, this hotel also offers extraordinary value and complimentary services. It’s plus is that it is right down the hill from The Boise Depot where the reception will be held. Last but not least is The Grove Hotel which I also feel has a lot to offer or I wouldn’t include it in my recommendations. However, it sits on the more expensive side and does not offer any complimentary services. On the other hand, they do boast a fantastic on-site restaurant and a swanky hotel bar that is sure to please most. So it all boils down to what you are looking for - Boise has a little something for everyone.
